Under the agreement, Spalce will work alongside MTN Business teams in five markets to deliver custom enterprise software and AI services to large corporate customers.
ACCRA, Ghana — Spalce Technologies and MTN Group today announced a multi-year strategic partnership focused on enterprise platform modernization for large corporate customers across MTN's African footprint. The agreement covers five markets in the first phase: Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa, and Uganda.
Under the partnership, Spalce engineers will work alongside MTN Business teams to deliver custom enterprise software, cloud modernization, and applied AI services to MTN's largest corporate customers. The two companies will also jointly develop reference architectures and pre-built modules for industries where MTN has a strong presence, including financial services, logistics, and resource industries.
“Our enterprise customers do not want yet another tool. They want partners who can take responsibility for outcomes. Spalce has shown they can do that at the level the largest companies on the continent require.”
The partnership formalizes work the two companies have been doing informally since 2024 on a small number of large engagements. Spalce will dedicate a team of more than 30 engineers and product staff to the partnership in its first year. MTN will provide go-to-market support, infrastructure, and access to its enterprise account base.
- Initial geographies: Ghana, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, South Africa, Uganda
- Sectors of focus: financial services, logistics, resource industries
- Spalce team committed: 30+ engineers and product staff in year one
- Joint reference architectures to be published in late 2026
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The first joint customer engagements under the formal partnership are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026.
