We are a team of engineers, designers, and strategists building enterprise software that helps ambitious organizations move faster, scale further, and lead their industries.
To put world-class software engineering within reach of every serious organization in Africa and beyond — building the digital backbone for the institutions, banks, and businesses that will define the next decade.
From a four-person team in Accra to a multi-continental engineering firm.
Spalce Technologies was founded in Accra in 2019 by a small group of engineers who had spent years building software for global banks, telcos, and government programs. They kept hitting the same wall: ambitious organizations across Africa wanted modern, secure, custom-built systems — but the right partners were either thousands of miles away or impossibly expensive.
We started Spalce to close that gap. From a single project for a fintech client in Accra, we grew into a multi-disciplinary engineering firm delivering custom platforms, mobile apps, cloud infrastructure, and AI systems for clients across three continents.
Today our team spans Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, the UK, and the US — but our north star is unchanged: build software that quietly, reliably, runs the businesses our clients have spent decades creating.
The principles that shape how we hire, design, build, and partner.
We treat every line of code as a long-term commitment. Clean architecture, rigorous testing, and thoughtful documentation are non-negotiables.
Our systems handle money, identity, and health records. Security isn't a feature we add — it shapes every decision from the first whiteboard sketch.
We don't disappear after launch. We become an extension of your team, embedded in your roadmap, accountable for the outcomes that matter to you.
We design for low-bandwidth realities, multi-currency complexity, and regulatory diversity — which makes our software resilient anywhere it lands.
The technology landscape moves fast. We invest heavily in our engineers, our processes, and the African tech ecosystem we're proud to be part of.
We measure ourselves by the revenue you unlock, the customers you delight, and the operational headaches we eliminate — not by the lines of code we ship.
A short history of how we got from a single client in Accra to a team of eighty across three continents.
By the numbers
Spalce Technologies opens its doors with a four-person engineering team and a single fintech client in Ghana.
We deliver a national-scale digital services platform, processing over a million transactions in its first quarter.
New engagements in Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, and Senegal. Team grows to 30, and we open our cloud and DevOps practice.
First clients in the UK and Germany. We launch our AI & Data practice and become an ISO 27001-aligned organization.
We launch our managed services arm, supporting mission-critical systems for clients across three time zones.
Spalce now serves 12 countries with delivery hubs in Accra, Lagos, and Nairobi — and a growing presence in North America.
We work where our clients work — across time zones, regulatory regimes, and market conditions. Wherever you operate, we already understand the terrain.
